Entering 2024, the textile industry sets an export target of USD 44 billion. The structure of export products has changed clearly. Some key export products decreased sharply such as: felt, shorts, children's clothing, etc. On the contrary, items such as workwear, suits, medical clothes, and jeans increased rapidly. Never before has Vietnam exported textiles and garments to as many markets as this year, to 104 countries and territories. The United States is still Vietnam's largest garment export market, by the end of 9 months exports to this market reached over USD 11 billion, followed by Japan with 3 USD billion, South Korea with USD 2.43 billion, EU with nearly USD 2.9 billion, Canada about USD 850 million, China about USD 830 million.
