Until recently, Southeast Asia, China and the Middle East have accounted for most sales outside Japan. The Group is currently adding sales bases and taking other steps to enlarge overseas operations and focusing most of all on the rapidly growing markets of Asian countries and Central and South America.As shared by the Production Manager, the subject is playing the role of manufacturing products, and components for hospital equipment including beds, medical trolleys, wardrobes, bandages, etc. The designs are provided by the parent company in Japan, so the subject does not receive any outside processing orders. The subject's products are exported to Japan (main market), Mexico, Indonesia, etc. In the domestic market, all the products are distributed by the subject's subsidiary, Paramount Bed Vietnam Trading Co., Ltd.According to the consolidated result of Paramount Bed Holdings Group in FYE 31 Mar 2023, net sales increased 9.6% year on year due to solid performance in the medical care, nursing care, and health promotion businesses. Besides, operating profit increased 9.0% year on year as a result of increased demand and the effects of price revisions, etc. despite the continued challenging business environment caused by rising raw material prices and distribution costs.
