Established in 2007, the subject is a subsidiary of Pomina Steel Corporation and operates as a factory of this corporation with the main duty of manufacturing and trading steel products for the construction industry such as cold rolled coils, galvanized coils, corrugated iron coils, color coated coils... The materials for production are imported from Malaysia, China, Singapore, Japan. Products are mainly consumed in domestic market. Besides, it also exports a small ratio to Cambodia. Under the influence of the economic downturn in Vietnam and the world, the company's business situation has faced many difficulties and the labor force reduced to 400 employees. A drop in steel prices along with low demand drastically impoverished profit margins of steel manufacturers and the subject is not an exception.
