Being founded in 2006, the subject is a wholly owned subsidiary of PRIME GROUP JOINT STOCK COMPANY, which is a 100% Thailand-invested company. The subject is specialized in supplying materials and equipment to produce ceramic tiles for PRIME GROUP's members in Vietnam. Besides, it provides entrusted export of ceramic tiles for the PRIME brand. Since the end of 2021, the subject started supplying tiles products of the COTTO brand imported from Thailand.The subject's annual revenue went down during the period 2018-2021. Particularly in 2020 and 2021, due to the negative effects of the Covid Pandemic, the subject's sales were narrowed clearly compared to the previous years. Last year, the subject's business was recovered with total sales of VND 7.5 trillion. However, the chief accountant said that the consumption of the subject was affected by the increase in tile price, which was caused by the sharp increase in the price of coal - an input material for ceramic tile production.Additionally, being negatively affected by the post-Covid economic recession, the local market need for ceramic tiles decreased clearly so the production scale of Prime Group's members has been reduced clearly since late 2022. Accordingly, the subject has received fewer orders from those clients. Thus, its revenue in the first eight months of 2023 slumped noticeably by about 25% compared to the same period last year, as revealed.
