Samyang Ep Vietnam Limited Liability Company (Vietnam)

The subject was established in 2018 as wholly – owned subsidiary of Samyang Corporation. Until Apr 2020, the subject officially went into operation after its factory was completed construction phase. The subject specializes in manufacturing engineering plastics. Machines and materials like plastic resins are imported from South Korea, China, Japan... to serve production. Most of finished products are consumed in domestic market. Besides, the subject also exports products to China, South Korea, Brazil, Indonesia, Malaysia... We had an interview with Chief Accountant of the subject. According to her, although the domestic and world economic situation faced many difficulties, the company's production and business activities in 2023 still remained stable. The estimated revenue for the whole of 2023 could be the same as last year to reach about VND 800 billion or increase slightly as 2022.The subject is considered as member of Samyang Group (South Korea). Established since 1924, Samyang Group is constantly developing and expanding its business activities with production and supply of food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and PET bottles. As collected, the group's chemical division has implemented strategies to expand the global market and strengthen specialty materials by entering the engineering plastics business in Vietnam. In addition to this, Vietnam is an attractive production base and a growing consumer market. Following the growth and changes of the Vietnamese market, Samyang Corporation completed the construction of a compound plant based on polycarbonate (PC), preparing to become a global specialty company through the growth in the Southeast Asian market.
