Being owned and operated by Mr. Tran Quy Thanh's family, THP Group specializes in manufacturing and trading various kinds of non-alcoholic drinks. Some typical products are Number 1 Energy Drink, Zero Degree Green Tea, Dr Thanh Herbal Tea, Number 1 Strawberry and Lemon Flavored Energy Drink, Number 1 Soya, etc. Tan Hiep Phat is a family-run company with huge profits. This corporation's profits sometimes were even higher than foreign companies such as Pepsi and Coca-Cola. After many years of operation in the field of non-alcoholic drinks production, Tan Hiep Phat has expanded its business to the real estate sector. It set up a debt trading company that focuses on ‘hunting' for land for real estate development. However, in Apr 2022, Mr. Tran Quy Thanh and Ms. Tran Uyen Phuong - his daughter were arrested on charges of illegally appropriating property. Investigators of the Ministry of Public Security also filed charges against Mr. Thanh's other daughter, Ms. Tran Ngoc Bich, who is also a member of management and Directors, but she was not taken into custody. According to the investigation office, the arrests came after “Abuse of trust to appropriate property” complaints by people in Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai Province against the trio and several other individuals. After the detentions of Mr. Thanh and his two daughters, Mr. Riddle David Charles has been appointed as the company's CEO (Deputy Director on legal). Besides, the General Director position of the subject has been assigned to Ms. Pham Thi Nu – Mr. Thanh's wife.
