Starting its history in 1995 in Can Tho City as a joint venture between a Taiwanese partner and local investors, the subject has become a wholly domestic invested company since Sep 2017. It is mainly engaged in manufacturing steel products used in the construction field (D6 - D32). In addition, it supplies steel billet products and steel scraps. Its products have been certificated to meet standards: Vietnam - TCVN, Japan - JIS, America - ASTM. Currently, it hardly imports directly, the input source is purchased from domestic suppliers. Its output is largely served domestic demand, and a small amount is exported to Cambodia. As investigated, the subject has renovated and invested more steel rolling production lines to upgrade its capacity from 120,000 tons/year to 170,000 tons/year. Its business activity is expected to enlarge in the next time.
