Thuan Hai Commodities Corporation (Vietnam)

The subject gets involved in importing and trading fuels products such as coals (mainly), biomass fuel such as palm kernel shells... Indonesia, Australia, China, India, UK... are known as import markets of the subject. We made an interview with a staff of the subject. According to him, all products are only consumed in domestic market. Currently, the company's product quantity is only enough to meet domestic demand because it has many large customers. The company is planning to export abroad in the following years. It now owns a large warehouse system throughout Vietnam to promptly meet customer needs such as Phu Thai Warehouse (Hai Duong), Truong Thanh Warehouse (Quang Nam), Thanh Phuoc Warehouse (Tay Ninh), Binh Duong Warehouse (Binh Duong), Cai Mep Warehouse (Ba Ria-Vung Tau) and Go Dau Warehouse (Dong Nai). The subject is one of the leading companies which are importing and distributing coal in Vietnam with average consumption of 250,000 tons per month. It is a pioneer in applying biomass as heating fuel with the average consumption of 25,000 tons per month.  Until now, the subject has the number of coal customers of more than 100.The subject is one of member companies in Thuan Hai Group. In 1995, Martech Joint Stock Company (specializing in producing boilers) was established by Mr. Duong Quoc Bao (founder of Thuan Hai Group). Realizing that selling boilers to customers always requires fuels such as coal, rice husks, etc., so in 2008, Thuan Hai Corporation (its parent company) was established. Until 2015, this group has had a development of warehousing systems through establishment of Cai Mep General Port Company Limited. In particular, it expanded operation to the Philippines by setting up Thuan Hai Philippines Corporation in 2018. In 2021, the subject, S&S Glove Corporation and Thuan Hai Energy Corporation were formed. In 2022, a new member named Thuan Hai Energy Bien Hoa Company Limited was also born in Dong Nai Province. All the above members have created an ecosystem called Thuan Hai Group.
