Formed in 2007 VALC .,JSC is known as the only company operating in the field of purchasing and leasing aircraft in Vietnam. Vietnam Airlines is the main customer of the subject. Unfortunately, in 2016, Vietnam Airline stopped the leasing contract of 5 aircraft ATR -72-500 before the term with the subject due to low operation effectiveness. The subject was struggling to liquidate these aircraft. Notably, in 2021, Vietnam Airlines continued to be doubted by Deloitte for its ability to operate continuously when short-term debt exceeded short-term assets by VND 29,833 billion. Additionally, many aircraft sales and lease transactions of the subject have failed because they could not compete with foreign companies.
