History:
2008: Established the company under the name of Viet Phat Import-Export Investment Trading Joint Stock Company on July 23, 2008
By 2010, a series of important changes marked a major turning point for Viet Phat. In order to better suit the Company s new orientation of not only doing business in services but also expanding its business scope to other areas such as trade, investment, production, etc. During this period, the Company has implemented research on a series of construction projects, typically: Processing shaped steel, classifying and trading iron ore at Quynh Phuc Industrial Cluster, Kim Xuyen Commune, Kim Thanh District, Hai Duong Province: Project to build warehouses and wharves in Kim Luong Commune, Kim Thanh District, Hai Duong Province. Thereby, the Company s market has also been expanded nationwide, the Company s coke, iron ore, steel billets, and transportation services have been present in many provinces and cities across the country.
By 2014, Viet Phat Import-Export Trading Investment Joint Stock Company had become one of the prestigious companies in the field of supplying minerals such as iron ore, coke, titanium, etc. for companies such as DongBu Vietnam Steel Co., Ltd., Thai Nguyen Iron and Steel Joint Stock Company, Hoa Phat Steel Joint Stock Company, Cao Bang Iron and Steel Joint Stock Company, etc. in Vietnam. The company has also achieved remarkable achievements: Revenue in 2018 reached 2,240 billion VND with a total current staff of 98 people working in the whole Company.
According to the FAST500 list in 2016, Viet Phat was ranked 13th. The FAST500 ranking in 2016 recognized the results of management work and the efforts of all Viet Phat employees in recent years. Viet Viet Phat was evaluated and ranked in the National and International Rankings and became a member of the FAST500 club, contributing to enhancing the image of Viet Phat. As part of the capital mobilization plan to expand the market and increase revenue, by October 2016, Viet Phat Import-Export Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company has implemented a plan to increase charter capital from 100 billion VND to 200 billion VND, in order to supplement working capital.
2018: The company s shares were listed on the HOSE exchange with the stock code VPG on January 18, 2018.
