The subject specializes in manufacturing finger joint laminated board (FJL board) and processing furniture products. The materials for production are imported from South Korea, Japan, EU, the USA, etc. As shared by sales department, most products are exported to Japan, South Korea, the USA, Australia, Hong Kong, etc. According to the HR department, total staff of the subject is about 1,000. Currently, all the departments are cutting working hours so that they will take one day off alternately. However, they refused to share the reason.For general information about the wood industry, it has set a target to export USD 18 billion worth of products in 2023. However, this target may be hindered by various challenges. At the Annual Conference of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Vietnam's wood industry might be under pressure until the end of the first quarter of 2023. In 2022, the wood industry's growth rate reached 7.1%. That was considered the most difficult year ever for the wood industry. The growth of the industry is mainly driven by markets such as Northeast Asia, Oceania, South Korea, Japan, etc.
