VIETRACIMEX 8 B.O.T JOINT STOCK COMPANY is known as the investor of BOT project "National Road 2 - Bypass through Vinh Yen City, Vinh Phuc Province". It is known that the subject had signed BOT contract No. 37/CĐBVN-HĐ.BOT on 14 Aug 2007 with total contact value of VND 531.182 billion. The payback period is within 16 years, 10 months and 11 days. The subject has set up the North Thang Long - Noi Bai Toll Station to refund investment capital of project since 01 Jan 2011.During the operation, the subject's BOT toll station has been facing with protest from drivers because of inappropriate location. Many drivers had stopped their cars and refused to pay fee. They asked for the station's relocation to Vinh Yen City, Vinh Phuc Province because the currernt station was located on Vo Van Kiet Street (in the land of Ha Noi City). As a result, the BOT toll station had to stop operation for a time at the end of 2018.Up to now, toll collecting activity is still occuring at North Thang Long - Noi Bai station (on Vo Van Kiet Street). It has ben refunding investment capital of the project for about 10 years.
