Cistoca J.P. Novi Sad is a public utility company located in Novi Sad, Serbia. It was established in 1954 as the Communal Enterprise "Čistoća" Novi Sad and later became the Public Utility Company "Cistoća" with p.o. Novi Sad in 1989. The company's main business is cleaning and watering the streets, taking out garbage and feces, maintaining public toilets, and providing street cleaning services. Over the years, Cistoca has expanded its services to include waste removal from surrounding areas and has grown to serve 81,153 households, 1,132 companies, and 2,837 small businessmen. The company has also invested in modernizing its fleet with the acquisition of new garbage trucks and car cleaners. In 2002, Cistoca rehabilitated and arranged the city landfill, making it the first of its kind in Yugoslavia. The company also operates a waste separation and baling plant at the landfill, where workers sort waste and separate useful raw materials for recycling. Cistoca is also responsible for capturing stray dogs and cats in Novi Sad. In recent years, the company has installed underground containers throughout the city to improve the cleanliness and appearance of Novi Sad.
