The Yugoslav Authentic Agency was founded at the end of 1954 as an institution of social organizations for copyright protection and mediation. They have established, under the consent of the Secretariat for Education of the Federal Executive Council, the associations of authors of Yugoslav writers, translators, fine artists, artists of applied arts, composers, music artists, opera and symphonic musicians
orchestras, drama artists and film workers. At the beginning of 1955, the Association of Architects of Yugoslavia joined the founders.
The Yugoslav Authentic Agency was established with the task of protecting the moral and material rights of authors in the country and abroad in the field of large copyrights, in accordance with legal regulations and international agreements, such as: the rights to publish, display, record, reproduce, translate and perform author s works and others.
The predominant activity of the Company is given under the activity code 7490 - Other professional, scientific and technical
activities.

The Company'share has been listed in The Belgrade Stock Exchange under the symbol JAAB since September, 09th 2005.
