Serbian company Mercata was established in 1991 under the FIK Marketing name as a firm offering accounting and marketing services. In 1999, local MPC D.O.O. became the sole owner of the company.
Mercata, based in the capital Belgrade, is primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of tobacco and tobacco products. It is also engaged in wholesaling consumer goods. The company operates more than 3,000 square meters warehousing facilities and a fleet of over 350 transport vehicles.
