In September 2007, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) lent Nectar EUR 10 million to support its network expansion on the Serbian and neighbouring markets, strengthen its direct distribution network as well as encourage new product development. In November 2008, the company acquired a 70% stake in mineral water bottling firm Heba and in August 2010 it increased its ownership to 100%.
