Opportunity Bank, the legal successor of savings bank Opportunity Stedionica, assumed its current name in May 2007. The lender is headquartered in Novi Sad in the autonomous Serbian region of Vojvodina.
The bank is a part of the American company Opportunity International that has existed since 1971 and works in 28 countries worldwide.
Opportunity International started operating in Serbia in 2002, with the objective to support the development of entrepreneurship and take part in reducing unemployment.
Opportunity Bank Novi Sad provides start-up loans, credits to small and medium-sized enterprises and the agriculture sector, as well as conducts payment operation services.
In August 2008, the bank opened its first unit in Belgrade. The lender operates branches in more than 15 cities across Serbia.
