Philip Morris Operations A.D. Nis, former DIN Fabrika duvana Nis (Tobacco Factory Nis), is a leading Serbian cigarette producer. Among the brands the company manufactures are local Best Export, Classic, and Drina and brands from the Philip Morris International portfolio such as Marlboro, Parliament, L&M Bond Street, Philip Morris and Next.
In August 2003, Phillip Morris became the majority owner of DIN, buying 67% stake for EUR387 mln. Phillip Morris has also committed to invest EUR 64.85mln in the plant and set aside additionally EUR 59.1mln for a social program and employees shares buy-out. In January 2011, the company was renamed into Philip Morris Operations.
