The "Đurđević" meat industry, located in Subotište, Pećinci municipality, was founded in 1999. The company aims to provide its customers with quality, fresh, and tasty products. They have a newly built slaughterhouse that started operating in 2004. The facility has been assigned an export number by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management of the Republic of Serbia and meets all ISO standard regulations. The company utilizes top technologies and modern equipment, allowing them to daily slaughter around 1000 pigs, 150 beef, and process 30 tons. On average, they produce and supply about 400 tons of finished products per day, with 95% sold through mega markets and the remaining 5% through their own retail facilities. The company ensures proper conditions for registered activities, maintains high standards of quality and hygiene, and regularly conducts health and microbiological analyses. They have a production hall of 15,000 m2 equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for automated technological processes. The company aims to grow and develop while providing customers with products of unique taste and craftsmanship from the centuries-old tradition of Srem.
