Serbia and Montenegro Air Traffic Services Agency (SMATSA) is a limited liability company, which was founded in 2003 in order to maintain, develop and operate ATM for Serbia and Montenegro. The company provides air services in the airspace of the Republic of Serbia, the Republic of Montenegro, a part of international waters of the Adriatic Sea, and in 55% of the airspace of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Currently, it also offers technical maintainance and development, training, meteorological services and flight inspection.
At the end of 2010, SMATSA opened a new building at the Belgrade's Nikola Tesla International Airport, covering area of 9,000 sq. m. The investment is estimated at RSD 1.08 billion.
