History:
1960: In 1960, Stanley Methven founded RAINBOW on his father's farm. According to legend, while walking on the farm, he saw a rainbow at a waterfall and knew exactly what to call his small business. But he wasn't picturing a pot of gold; he was picturing pots of hot Isishebo feeding families
1963: First processing plant commissioned at Hammarsdale.
2024: The Company was incorporated on 11 April 2024 on Republic of South Africa with registration number 2024/200346/07.
2024: Rainbow Chicken Proprietary Limited was converted from a private company to a public company with the name Rainbow Chicken Limited on 31 May 2024 with registration number 2024/200346/06.
2024: The company was listed on JSE on 26 June 2024.
