The SPAR Group Limited (SPAR) is primarily a wholesaler and distributor of goods and services to independent retailers who trade under the SPAR brand. Seven distribution centres (DCs) provide goods and services to retail stores in South Africa, Swaziland, Botswana, Lesotho, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Namibia. In addition, SPAR wholesales goods to independent SPAR stores in Zambia and Malawi, although these stores do not fall under a licence agreement controlled by SPAR South Africa.
