Renata Limited, located in Dhaka, Bangladesh, is a leading pharmaceutical and animal health product company. It was originally established in 1972 as Pfizer (Bangladesh) Limited and later changed its name to Renata Limited in 1993 when ownership was transferred to local shareholders. Renata products are not only sold domestically but also exported to various countries including Afghanistan, Belize, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Guyana, Honduras, Hong Kong, Kenya, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, United Kingdom, and Vietnam. The company is listed on the Dhaka Stock Exchange with a market capitalization of over USD $1 billion. Renata Limited operates ten manufacturing facilities across three sites and distributes its products through 19 depots throughout the country. The company employs over 8,000 people. Renata Limited has three subsidiaries: Renata Agro Industries Limited, Purnava Limited, and Renata Oncology Limited. The corporate headquarters of Renata Limited is located in Mirpur, Dhaka, and the company also has manufacturing sites in Rajendrapur and Kashor.
