The Company is a mobile telecommunication service provider in Bangladesh providing voice, data and other internet based innovative digital services. The Company also provides international roaming services through international roaming agreement with various operators of different countries across the world.
The Company is a public company limited by shares, was incorporated as TM International (Bangladesh) Limited on October 22, 1995. On May 28, 2009, the name of the company was changed to Axiata (Bangladesh) Limited and subsequently on August 19, 2010, the name was finally changed to Robi Axiata Limited. Airtel Bangladesh Limited was merged with Robi in 2016.
The Company listed on Dhaka Chittagong stock exchange in 24 December, 2020.
