Bulgarian investment company Bulimpex, which was established in 1996, operates the four-star hotel complex Helena Resort in the Black Sea resort of Slanchev Bryag.
The EUR 25 million complex, which was opened in 2004, consists of two hotels with 1,056 beds and spans over 50,000 square metres.
The firm, whose board chairman Mladen Mutafchiiski is a former manager of state-owned arms producer Teraton, bought in 1999 a 75% stake in pharmaceutical distributor Aptechno in the Black Sea port of Varna.
