Hanon Systems Plovdiv EOOD, formerly Magna Powertrain Plovdiv EOOD, is engaged in the manufacturing of motor vehicle parts. The production facilities of the firm are located in the village of Stryama, near Bulgaria`s second-largest city Plovdiv. Hanon Systems Plovdiv EOOD was established in 2008 under the Ixetic Plovdiv name. The company was founded as a subsidiary of German automotive vacuum, engine and transmission pump manufacturer Ixetic GmbH. In end-2012 global automotive supplier Magna finalized the acquisition of Ixetic. In 2019 the company ownership was transferred to the South Korean group Hanon Systems and the name of the Bulgarian entity's name was renamed Hanon Systems Plovdiv EOOD.
