Autopista Magdalena Medio S.A.S. is a Colombian road infrastructure concessionaire responsible for the Troncal Magdalena 1 Project, a major highway concession under a public-private partnership (APP) contract awarded in 2022 to develop, finance, construct, upgrade, operate and maintain the 259.6 km corridor between Puerto Salgar and Barrancabermeja. The company is jointly held by KMA Construcciones S.A.S. and Ortiz Construcciones y Proyectos S.A., each holding 50% ownership. The concession's activities include roadway rehabilitation and construction, safety improvement, toll operations, traffic services, community engagement and environmental management. This project is part of Colombia's Quinta Generación (5G) highway infrastructure initiative aimed at enhancing mobility, regional connectivity and economic growth along key transport corridors.
