Oleoducto de Crudos Pesados Ecuador S.A., commonly known as OCP, is a private owned company that commenced operations back in 2003, with a main activity consisting in oil transportation through a pipeline. It’s being operated by other companies of the oil industry that are also shareholders of OCP. The pipeline runs from Esmeraldas all the way to Lago Agrio. Its transport capacity exceeds 517.000 barrels per day.
