J&T Banka D.D. (Croatia)

J&T Banka D.D., located in Varazdin, is a member of the J&T Finance Group. Its roots date back to 1994 when it was incorporated as Brodsko-posavska banka d.d. in Slavonski Brod. In 2005, it changed its name to Vaba d.d. banka Varaždin and relocated to Varazdin to continue the tradition of the former Varaždinska banka. The bank's quality service has been recognized by the leading Czech Bank J&T, which recapitalized the bank in June 2014 with HRK 75,000,000.00. This increased the bank's overall capital to HRK 128,700,000.00. In January 2015, J&T Bank further invested in the bank's share capital, resulting in stock equity of HRK 166,085,400.00 and an increased share capital of HRK 231,085,400.00. In June 2016, the share capital of Vaba d.d. banka was increased by HRK 76,000,000.00, based on the decision of the board and approval of the supervisory board. The total share capital now amounts to HRK 307,085,400.00, with J&T Banka a.s. holding a stake of 82.55 percent. Since January 1st, 2017, the bank operates under the name J&T Banka D.D.
