Tayo Rolls Ltd., located in Jamshedpur, is a subsidiary of Tata Steel Limited. It was established in collaboration with Yodogawa Steel Works and Nissho Iwai Corporation of Japan in 1968. The company specializes in the production of Cast Iron and Cast Steel Rolls for metallurgical industries. They also manufacture Forged Rolls, Engineering Forgings, and Ingots. Tayo Rolls Ltd. is known for being the only company in the world to manufacture both Cast and Forged Rolls from Iron Ore in their integrated facilities. They have incorporated technologies from European and Japanese collaborators. In addition to their established Cast Roll and Pig Iron business, Tayo Rolls Ltd. has recently expanded into the manufacture of ingots, Engineering Forgings, and Forged Rolls. They offer tailor-made products to meet customer-specific requirements. Their rolls are designed for various applications in the production of angles, channels, rods, tubes, strips, plates, sheets, and other flat and section products.
