Iran’s Jam Petrochemical Company is one of the largest petrochemical producers on a regional level. It was set up in 2000 and became public in 2010. The company and its production facilities are located in Pars Special Economic Energy Zone. Jam Petrochemical produces some 1,320,000 tons of ethylene and 306,000 tons of propylene per year. It produces also HDPE and LLDPE products and butadiene. Its subsidiaries are active in the downstream sector of the petroleum industry. Jam is also one of Iran’s biggest exporters of petrochemical products with China, Turkey and Pakistan being its largest export markets.
