Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG) is the national monetary authority in the Republic of Montenegro. Its sole activity is to establish and maintain solid local banking system and monetary policy.
CBCG was established in accordance to the Law on the Central Bank of Montenegro, adopted by the National Assembly in November 2000. The Bank launched operations on March 15, 2001.
