Electroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG), set up in 1910, is the electricity provider of Montenegro. Its core activities include electricity generation, transmission, distribution and supply. Additionally, the company provides construction and maintenance services of electric-related facilities, as well as design and supervision of electric power projects.EPCG has the capacity to generate electricity in total gross installed capacity of some 900 MW, out of which about 75% come from its two hydro power plants - Perucica and Piva and five small hydro power plants, while the other 25% come from its thermal power plant – Pljevlja.EPCG has two subsidiaries, Zeta Energy d.o.o., engaged in electricity generation from renewable sources, and EPCG d.o.o. Beograd, which is engaged in electricity trading in the Serbian market.
