Jugopetrol AD Kotor, established in 1947 is located in Montenegro’s seaside town of Kotor. Its main activities are production and trade in oil and oil products. In 2002 Greece-based oil group Hellenic Petroleum bought the majority stake in Jugopetrol AD Kotor for an undisclosed sum. Since then, the retail network of the Montenegrin company, which consists of nearly 40 petrol stations in Montenegro and three in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is operated under the commercial brand "EKO". Jugopetrol AD Kotor also runs three acht service stations in Kotor, Budva and Herceg Novi, three petroleum installations in Bar, Lipci and Bijelo Polje with tank truck loading facilities, two aviation fuel terminals in Podgorica and Tivat and three warehouses for goods, lubricants, material and spare parts (2 in Kotor and 1 in Podgorica). The company also operates a fleet of 20 tank trucks and four lorries for transporting fuels, lubricants and other goods.
