Grupo Gepp, S.A.P.I. de C.V., commonly known as GEPP, is a leading Mexican beverage company headquartered in Cuajimalpa, Mexico City, and officially incorporated in 2011 following a strategic merger between Organización Cultiba, Empresas Polar, and PepsiCo México. The company traces its roots back to GEUSA, founded in 1987, which served as PepsiCo’s main bottler in Mexico until the formation of GEPP. GEPP specializes in the manufacturing, bottling, distribution, and marketing of carbonated and non-carbonated beverages, including purified water, across the entire Mexican territory. Its most important products include Pepsi, Gatorade, 7 Up, Lipton, Mirinda, Squirt, Santorini, Electropura, e-Pura, and Be Light, among others. GEPP is currently owned by Organización Cultiba (40%), Polmex Holdings (40%), and PepsiCo México (20%). With over 46,000 employees, GEPP is one of the largest private-sector employers in Mexico and operates extensive logistics and production infrastructure throughout the country. Historically, the company has grown through acquisitions and regional expansion, evolving from a regional bottler into the second-largest beverage bottler in Mexico, only behind Coca-Cola FEMSA.
