Freight Management Holdings Berhad provides freight and logistic services, through the subsidiary. In 1999, Freight Management pioneered containerised rail freight services between Malaysia and Thailand, taking advantage of rising trade movement with the advent of AFTA (Asean Free Trade Area). Freight is a leading International Freight Services Provider based in Malaysia offering multimodal international freight services that includes sea, land, air, tug & barge and rail. The offices are located in Port Klang, KLIA, Penang, Ipoh, Malacca and Johor to cover all the important maritime and air gateways of Malaysia. As at August 2009, Freight's total fleet of 30 prime movers and 150 trailers fully commissioned. During the financial year, the Group started its crossborder land transportation to Thailand which provided door-to-door and depot-to-depot services. On 31 December 2008, Icon Line (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary entered into a Joint Venture arrangement with Lim Kok Wee & Wimolphan Bunpala ('Lim Group') and Kittiwat Kitsiritaveewong to set up a joint venture company in Thailand known as Icon Freight Services Company Ltd ('JVCo'). The intended activity of the JVCo is to provide integrated logistics services to and from Thailand. Freight Management Holdings Berhad was incorporated in 1996 and is based in Kuala Lumpur.
