Hubline Berhad is a public limited company based in Malaysia. It is listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. The company operates in two business segments: dry bulk shipping logistics services and flying academy aviation school and general aviation services. In the dry bulk shipping business, Hubline Berhad has been providing barge logistics services since 2007. They transport between 8,000 to 10,000 metric tonnes of dry bulk cargo per shipment. The company currently has a fleet of twenty-three sets of tugs and barges that operate in Southeast Asia, serving countries such as Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. The cargo they transport includes commodities like coal, gypsum, palm kernel shells, feldspar, scrap metal, and sand. Hubline Berhad is also involved in the flying academy and general aviation services. In 2018, they acquired Layang Layang Aerospace Sdn Bhd, which is one of the largest general aviation companies in Malaysia. The company operates six helicopters and nine fixed-wing aircraft, primarily in Sabah and Sarawak, but also in Kedah, Langkawi, Penang, and Perak. Their services include aircraft chartering, emergency medical services, flying doctor services, aerial sightseeing, surveys, mapping and photography, as well as passenger and cargo transportation. Layang Layang Aerospace Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Hubline Berhad, owns 80% of Layang Layang Flying Academy Sdn Bhd. This academy is an approved training organization certified by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia. They offer fixed-wing pilot and helicopter pilot flight training programs to prepare cadets for private and commercial pilot licenses.
