Hunza Properties Berhad (HUNZPTY) engages in investment holding and the provision of management services. The activities include property development, property rental, plant and machinery rental. The subsidiaries include Bandar Kepala Batas Sdn. Bhd., Hunza Holdings Sdn. Bhd., Hunza Properties (Gurrey) Sdn. Bhd., Hunza Properties (Kelawai) Sdn. Bhd., Hunza Properties (Penang) Sdn. Bhd., Hunza Properties (North) Sdn. Bhd., Hunza Properties (Wilayah) Sdn. Bhd., Hunza Usaha Ventures Sdn. Bhd. and Masuka Bina Sdn. Bhd. HUNZA began as a low-to middle-end developer of residential properties in the northern region states of Malaysia. In the past, HUNZPTY had been reliant on two major ongoing projects to drive its earnings i.e. Bayu Development Project, Sg. Petani and Bandar Putra Bertam, Kepala Batas. In recent years it has shifted its focus to higher -end property segment. The project include Alila, which is a gated project located off Jln Lembah Permai in Penang valued at RM 211Mn schedule for completion in 2008. Mutiara Seputeh another gated project located on a 15 acre site in Seputeh, Kuala Lumpur. The project was soft launched in 2006 worth RM 200Mn. The Gurney Paragon a mixed development project on a 10.2 acre land on gurney Drive Penang and The Infinity in Tanjung Bungah, Penang an exclusive low density RM240 Mn project which has the tagline of Seafront Bungalows in the Sky and has twin towers of 29 to 30 levels each with a sky lounge in the centre are projects in the pipeline. The company was incorporated in 1998 and is based in Ipoh.
