Savia Peru S.A., formerly known as Petro-Tech Peruana S.A., was established in 1994 and it is headquartered in the city of Lima. The new business image of Savia was created in February 2010 in order to become a leading company in the hydrocarbon sector in Peru. The company is led by two well-known state-owned enterprises: ECOPETROL from Colombia and KNOC from South Korea. Its main activities are the exploration, exploitation and commercialization of hydrocarbons. It is also engaged in the extraction of liquid and gaseous fluids.
