MTU Aero Engines Polska, located in the south-eastern part of Poland is the youngest branch of MTU Aero Engines. The factory has started operations in April 2009 and since then its scope of operations has included Engineering & Operations and Parts Management (Externals & Accessories) for V2500 engine. Main focus of production activities is upon vanes, blades, discs, rotor components for LPT and HPC, low pressure turbine assembly and parts repair. Key issues in the research & development of MTU Aero Engines Poland are the design of profiles of uncooled low-pressure turbine blades for aircraft engines, tools, equipment for processing and testing of engine components as well as software development and diagnostic control unit for aircraft engines.
