Nsk Bearings Polska S.A., located in Kielce, is NSK Europe's largest plant specializing in the manufacturing of ball bearings. The plant has implemented staff education programs to enhance waste management and promote recycling. By raising employee awareness, the plant has successfully increased recycling rates and significantly reduced waste control costs. In fiscal 2009, the plant achieved a 100% recycling rate for cardboard boxes. Additionally, the plant is actively working to improve the management of chemical substances in accordance with NSK's environmental management system. This includes updating the list of managed chemical substances in response to European REACH regulations and creating a database for better substance management.
