Banco Atlas S.A. (Paraguay)

The history of Banco Atlas began in 1989, was born as a financial institution named CRISTAL FINANCIERA S.A. at a time when the Paraguayan financial system would have several structural changes, mainly due to the liberalization and reduction of financial repression, according to the new times. With a larger goal and long-term projections, in 1997 it changed its company name to ATLAS S.A. DE FINANZAS. This change was made in order to become an Issuer of Open Capital and participate in the Stock Market. With the new corporate name, the By-Laws were changed, being renamed FINANCIERA ATLAS S.A.E.C.A. On December 7, 2010, according to resolution No. 14 issued by the Central Bank of Paraguay, the social transformation of the entity FINANCIERA ATLAS S.A.E.C.A. was approved in order to become a Bank and is granted the license to operate under the corporate name BANCO ATLAS S.A. This new challenge meant the consolidation of an experienced Human Resources staff that, under the Bank's principles, values ​​and convictions, offers a different option to the general public with products and services tailored to each individual. In October 2011 BANCO ATLAS S.A., in an absorption process merges with BANCO INTEGRACION S.A. and with the experience of both entities it achieves a greater strengthening in the National Financial System, in addition to incorporating a network of Branches that allows it to offer opportunities of access of its products and services to more Paraguayans.
