Company Description
The company appears in the Paraguayan financial market as Interbanco S.A. since March 1978. In 1995 it became part of the Unibanco - Uniao Group of Brazilian Banks S.A., which decided to bet on the growth and expansion of the country. It thus adopted the solid support of one of the leading banks in South America and the most reliable banks in the world. In November 2008, Unibanco and Itau announced their merger to give rise to Itau Unibanco Holding S.A. Since July 2010 Interbanco S.A. becomes Banco Itau Paraguay S.A., a member of the Holding Company and offers its clients the advantages and benefits of a global company with the firm commitment to value and maintain the wealth of the things that make us unique as Paraguayans. The bank has full service branches in Asuncion, San Lorenzo, Nemby, Mariano R. Alonso, Ciudad del Este, Encarnacion, Santa Rita, Caaguazu, Philadelphia, San Cristobal and Katuete. In addition to Itau Express points and points of the Payment Network, Itau has the largest ATM network in the country, with more than 280 ATMs strategically located throughout Paraguay. The two major business segments; Consumer Banking and Corporate Banking make available to its clients various financial alternatives, designed to facilitate the way of transacting and developing business. Each bank has a structure that allows it to meet the expectations of its clients. The Consumer Banking is made up of a coordination for Urban Agencies and another for Interior Agencies, the Interclass segment from which premium products and services are offered, the Specialized Business Unit, the Payment and Microfinance Network and the Intelligence Management Business and Telemetry that accompanies the entire business. Corporate Banking is made up of the Companies, Large Companies and Institutional, Financial Advisory, Agribusiness and Intelligence and Telemetry units corresponding to this bank.
