ROCA Industry, the holding that brings together the construction materials companies from the ROCA Investments portfolio, reaches a turnover of 122.5 million lei, following the consolidated results of the first semester, according to a press release sent to the editors. The Romanian holding has plans to consolidate the companies, but also to expand the portfolio, including outside the borders, despite the market climate and the difficult world context.

ROCA Investments created this first holding by bringing together the companies: BICO INDUSTRIES, the largest producer of glass fiber mesh in Romania, and one of the largest at European level, SARCOM, one of the most important players in the paint and varnish industry , and ECO EURO DOORS (transaction signed in December 2021, and completed in May 2022), the largest Romanian manufacturer of doors for residential constructions, with 27 years of experience on the market. ROCA Industry owns 100 of Sarcom, 70 of Bico and 70 of Eco Euro Doors.
During 2022, Roca Industry expanded its glass fiber mesh production through the acquisition by BICO of TERRA IMPEX (headquartered in the Vulcanesti Free Economic Zone, Republic of Moldova), a company with the same objective of activity. At the same time, the company is in the process of finalizing the full takeover of Dial SRL, specialized in the production of bordered fence panels, braided fence netting, Rabitz netting, rectangular posts and more.

The purpose of the holding company is to develop and scale strong and sustainable domestic brands both on the basis of a common strategy and through the synergies generated from their activity. Thus, it creates a major positive impact in the construction of Romanian brands and the domestic economy as a whole.The company has 7 main production sections for washable paints, decorative plasters, alkyd
paints and varnishes, aracet, prenadez, manual thinners and dyes, included in the 2 reference
brands, Sticky and Coral. It also enjoys the experience gained over time by its majority
shareholder, ROCA Investments, the purpose of which at the time of the Company s
establishment was to develop and scale strong and sustainable domestic brands based on both
a common strategy, as well as through the synergies generated by their activity
