Novtruck ZAO (Russia)

Novtrak ZAO is a Russian-German joint venture producing trailers for transportation on highways and special roads. The headquarters of the company is located in the town of Eging Am See - South Eastern Germany. This, unfortunately, is the only European producer of trailers that has its own production in Russia. In 2009 the German Meusburger Fahrzeugbau GmbH bought a controlling stake in Novtrak. Novtrak operates on the Russian market and the CIS countries for more than 15 years manufacturing products under the brand "Sommer Novtrak". In connection to the acquisition of the Novgorod Novtrak, the entire manufacturing operation moves to Russia. In Europe, Meusburger divides the heavy vehicle market with players such as co-landers Goldhofer and Doll, also Belgium Faymonville, Dutch Nooteboom and others. The company concentrates its capabilities on developing and manufacturing unusual and unique models for transportation of heavy, oversize cargos.
