Slovenia-based Skupina Prva d.d. began operations in 2000 as a pension fund company under the name Prva pokojninska druzba d.d.
It was reorganized into an insurance holding company named Skupina Prva d.d. in 2007.
It manages four pension funds, an insurance company and an insurance products company. Skupina Prva d.d. business spreads in Slovenia, Macedonia, Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro and Albania.
Skupina Prva d.d. is 50%-owned by Dej d.o.o.
It has over 80,000 insurants, more than 2,500 insured companies and some EUR 220 million assets under management.
The company's shares are traded on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) since 2005.
