Erciyas Steel Pipe Co. was founded in 1990 in Izmit to produce spiral-welded (SAW) steel pipes. Because of the requirements that emerged during development, it later moved to the factory in Duzce, which was built on an area of 110.000 sq mtr (27 acres) with an enclosed area of 30,000 m² (323.000 sq ft) outfitted with the latest technology.
