Gensenta Ilac Sanayi Ve Ticaret Anonim Sirketi, located in Istanbul, is a pharmaceutical company that was previously known as Mustafa Nevzat İlaç. In 2012, it was acquired by Amgen İlaç and later renamed Gensenta in 2020. Gensenta aims to provide comprehensive solutions and improve access to medication for a wider range of patients in a broader geographic area. As of November 2022, it continues its operations as one of the establishments of Eczacıbaşı Group. Gensenta is one of Turkey's leading manufacturers of finished pharmaceutical products and active pharmaceutical ingredients, with a team of 850 experts and modern facilities. The company operates four independent production units at its Raw Material Production Facilities, where it produces active ingredients for penicillin-based drugs, macrolide-based drugs, Etodolak, and other pharmaceutical ingredients. Gensenta is the only penicillin production facility in Turkey and became the first Turkish pharmaceutical manufacturer to receive FDA approval for finished products in 2006. Adhering to the "Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)" and "Current Good Laboratory Practices (cGLP)" standards, Gensenta produces drugs using continuous education, knowledge accumulation, and modern technology.
