Rossmax InternationalLtd.was set up in November 1977, focusing on the design, production, and marketing of electronic stationery. In 1980, it started the transition to electronic blood pressure monitor. In July 1992 its stock went listed in OTC market. In September 1992, its production lines have all moved to the mainland. Its main products include Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor (52% of total revenue) and Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor (46%). These products have up to October 1996 received nearly 40 patents in a total of seven countries / regions, including automatic memory type, exhausting blood pressure improved structure, pressure-testing situation, and digital listening. As to their accuracy it obtained ESH certification in 1995.
