The company was founded and incorporated in December 1958 by the Electricidad de Caracas C.A. as a company diversifying its investments. It began with the real estate business as Inmobiliaria Tacoa C.A. In October 1968 it expanded its business activities and was renamed as Inversiones Tacoa C.A.
The company is currently dedicated to the realization of diversified investments, without borrowing, offering the investors diversified and differentiated values obtained from its own sources in: Almacenes Congelados, Alimentos Congelados, Ganaderia y Logistica De Distribución Al Mayor.
